What is the process for obtaining home medical equipment?
Upon a referral from your physician, our intake department will verify your insurance and benefits. Once the order is in place, a service technician will deliver your equipment to your home. The technician will also set up the equipment and explain how to use and care for it.Who pays for Condell Home Medical Equipment services?
Medical equipment prescribed by a physician is a covered benefit under Medicare and Medicaid and most insurance companies now offer policies that include coverage of expenses for medically prescribed equipment. Upon a referral from a physician, our intake department will verify your insurance and benefits.Does Medicare cover Home Medical Equipment?
*All recipients of Medicare are eligible for the benefits of home medical equipment. Usually, Medicare pays 80 percent of an approved amount for certain pieces of medical equipment.
