First and foremost, physician members of the Condell IPA have undergone a rigorous application process and have met credentialing standards including:
- Educational qualifications

The overriding commitment of Condell IPA physicians is to establish healthcare partnerships with the patients and communities we serve by preventing illness and injury whenever possible. Condell Medical Center shares that commitment. The medical center is well known for its nationally ranked fitness center and wellness programs, which encourage community members to get healthy, and to stay healthy.
Condell IPA is proud of its affiliation with Condell Medical Center. Our partnership provides: a full range of acute and emergency care treatment, a Level II Trauma Center, maternity care, comprehensive home health and rehabilitation services, and the Condell Day Center for Intergenerational Care, in addition to Centre Club fitness complex and health education and wellness programs offered by The Medical Center Health Institute.
Preparing for Your Physician Visit
Your primary care physician is your family's health care partner. Though patients are sometimes reluctant to ask questions of their doctor out of fear or embarrassment, it is important that you take responsibility for your own health and play an active role in maintaining it by having as much information as possible. Here are some tips for communicating effectively with your doctor:- Write down your questions before you see your doctor. You will be much more satisfied with your visit if you use the opportunity to speak face to face with your physician rather than trying to follow up on the phone with questions you neglected to ask.
- Ask for clarification if you don't understand something. Be sure you understand the pro's and con's of the various treatment options. Ask your doctor to explain why a particular course of action is being recommended.
Physician Health Plan Affiliation
Condell Independent Physicians Association has contracts with many health plans. However, individual physicians may exercise their right not to participate in any one of these plans. Therefore, we recommend that you confirm health plan participation with the physician's office. If Condell IPA is not affiliated with your health plan, you may request that it be added to your list of eligible healthcare providers. For more information about Condell IPA, call (847) 573-4180.
Thank you for your interest in Condell IPA. We look forward to being your partner in health.
