Outpatient Surgery Information

Information You Should Know Before and After Outpatient Surgery

Your physician has scheduled you for outpatient surgery. The following information has been put together to prepare you for this procedure. Also included are instructions for the day of surgery and for when you return home.

While every patient responds differently to surgery, we believe familiarizing you with various aspects of the surgical process can help to alleviate anxiety and shorten your recovery period. We cannot overemphasize that the physicians on Condell's medical staff, nurses and other medical professionals who care for you are more than happy to answer any of your questions.

If after reading this information and you still have questions, be sure to discuss them with your nurses and physician, or contact the Surgery Department at (847) 990-5321.
