Quill Corp. Honored Condell Nurses with Cookies
On May 11, Quill Corp.'s Carlos Madinya, market manager for Medical Arts Press, met with Condell's Janet Buckley, vice president of patient care and CNO, to offer the hospital more than 350 tins of Mrs. Fields® cookies in celebration of National Nurses Week.
LIBERTYVILLE, IL – On May 11, Quill Corporation, headquartered in Lincolnshire, donated more than 350 tins of Mrs. Fields® cookies to nurses at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville as a way of saying thanks for being a source of healing and comfort to the community. Quill Corp. is a business-to-business direct marketer of office products, custom printing, furniture and technology supplies. The company has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of Staples Inc., since 1998 and also owns Medical Arts Press and SmileMakers.
Condell Medical Center joined more than 6,000 hospitals nationwide to celebrate both National Nurses and National Hospital Week, May 6 through 12. During National Nurses Week, Condell showed appreciation to its nurses for their clinical skills and passion for caring that make a dramatic difference in the lives of patients.
