Condell Honored as Top Hospital During Award Ceremony

LIBERTYVILLE, IL—Condell Medical Center was recognized among the nation’s top hospitals for quality by the National Research Corporation (NRC), a healthcare research firm. The Consumer Choice Award was presented to Condell Tuesday following an independent survey of its patients and local community that showed they preferred Condell Medical Center.

Ellie Windle, regional manager for the NRC, based in Lincoln, Nebraska, presented the award to Condell. She explained that survey respondents ranked Condell top in its market for overall quality, physicians, nurses and image and reputation. The NRC is a leader in healthcare research, with more than two decades of experience assessing healthcare performance and improvement on local and national levels.

Notable winners of the Consumer Choice Award in other markets include Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins Hospital and Baylor University Medical Center.
