Heart Health Made Simple
at Condell Medical Center
Attend a Free Lecture;Receive a Free Pedometer
LIBERTYVILLE, IL—Heart disease is very common among men and women, but it does not have to be one of life's certainties. During a free presentation on Wednesday, February 13, cardiac rehabilitation specialists at Condell Medical Center will explain simple steps that can be taken to improve heart health.
Mary Ann Majewski, RN, and Denise Smaczny, MS, EP, a certified exercise physiologist, will discuss how preventing heart disease is easier than most people think. The presentation will focus on tips for increasing physical activity and improving diet, both of which go a long way to better heart health.
The session will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Condell's Medical Center's Conference Center, 700 Garfield Ave., Libertyville, on the hospital's main campus. Guests will receive a free pedometer and log to track their physical activity.
