Cardiologist to Give Free Heart Health Talk
at Condell Medical Center
LIBERTYVILLE, IL—Board-certified cardiologist Geetha Reddy, MD, will discuss heart disease in women, including atypical symptoms and hormonal changes, during a free talk on Tuesday, February 26. Dr. Reddy's presentation is part of Condell Medical Center's new partnership with WomenHeart, a support group dedicated to address the unique concerns of women with heart disease.
The group will meet from 7 to 8: 30 p.m. in the Condell Day Center Solarium, 700 Garfield Ave., Libertyville, located on the hospital's main campus. Future meetings will be held on the last Tuesday of the month.
WomenHeart provides support, information and advocacy to improve cardiac care. The organization promotes early detection, accurate diagnosis and proper treatment in order to achieve optimal quality of life for women with heart disease.
The group will be hosted by Libertyville resident and heart patient Debbie Dunn, a national WomenHeart spokesperson and speaker for the American Heart Association.
